Antenna Capacitive Test - This is an initial study that attempted to determine if the capacitance shown on an LCR meter between a long wire antenna and ground was more accurate than a theoretical calculation. The LCR meter showed approximately 700 pF while theory indicated the capacitance should be about 245 pF.

Antenna Segments Capacitive Test - This study built upon the previous one. The goal here was to segment the long wire antenna into sections where the environmental conditions were similar (i.e., open air, proximity to objects). If the segments where known capacitance were subtracted from the total, would it be possible to determine the parameters (and perhaps fundamental reasons) that caused the capacitance in those sections to be higher than theory?
